Internet of Things (IoT) is one of the fastest growing industries today. Many companies are developing the IoT infrastructure and trying to connect as many devices as possible to the internet. In this paper, we develop a secure shared key agreement protocol for multiple devices inside the home IoT environment which alleviates security, privacy and scalability concerns. The protocol achieves key agreement amongst devices and allows secure data broadcast without connecting to the cloud. We also provide a formal security proof of the proposed scheme and verify its security properties using the AVISPA (Automated Validation of Internet Security Protocols) tool. We have also done a comprehensive communication and computation cost analysis of the protocol and compared it with other state of the art protocols for IoT environment.
