Large macroaggregate properties are sensitive to the conversion of pure plantation to uneven-aged mixed plantations

•Mixed plantations increased large macroaggregate proportion and aggregate stability.•Soil OC and TN contents in mixed plantations increased, less variation for TP content.•C/N/P ratios in large macroaggregate of mixed plantations markedly increased.•Large macroaggregate properties are more sensitive to the change of stand structure.•Nutrients condition and enzyme activity were better in artificially mixed plantations.
