摘要
Transcription factors may play a key role in the pathophysiology of chronic airway diseases, and may also be a target for novel anti-inflammatory treatments.Activator protein-1 (AP-1) regulates Th2 cytokines interleukin(IL)-5,IL-4,and IL-13 expression.Dysregulation of AP-1 activation leads to clinical glucocorticoid-resistant bronchial asthma(asthma).A novel clue to treat asthma is emerging owing tO the application of pharmacological inhibitors and gene silencing targeted at AP-1.A subunit of AP-1 family may be a more charming therapeutic target of asthma in the future.\r\n\r\nKey words: \r\nBronchial asthma; Therapeutic target; Activator protein-1
