Advances in the treatment of hyperthyroidism with ~(131)I

During recent years, some clinical guidelines for ^131I treatment of hyperthyroidism were published abroad and in China. These guidelines represent the advances in this field. They include ： （ 1 ）^131I in the treatment of subclinical hyperthyroidism; （2）^131I in the treatment of Graves＇ disease and associated Hashimoto＇s thyroiditis with high radioactive iodine uptake （RAIU）; （3）^131I treatment in children and adolescents with hyperthyroidism; （4）^131I in the treatment of Graves＇ ophthalmopathy; （5）^131I in the treatment of refractory severe hyperthyroidism.
