Construction of ordered mesopores outside MTT zeolite for efficient hydroisomerization

•Tunable ordered mesopores have been constructed outside the MTT zeolite.•Mesopore channels are parallel to micropore channels along the a-axis direction.•The mesopores are connected with the micropores at the a-axis port of H-SSZ-32 core.•Restriction of mesoporous shell fosters high yield of mono-branched isomerization.•The kinetic behaviors of n-C16 isomerization were studied by data regression.
