New Frontiers In Urologic Organ Transplantation

: This edition of the AJT features a study entitled \"Introducing A Novel Experimental Model of Bladder Transplantation In Mice\" (1). The authors performed bladder transplantation on 16 syngeneic C57BL/6J mice and were able to demonstrate feasibility and functionality. Specifically, transplanted mice showed similar long-term body weight as control mice, as well as comparable ability of fully voiding urine volume both at 1-month and 6-month time intervals.
