摘要

•Gd3+, Tb3+ and Dy3+ ions doped borate host glasses have been prepared successfully.•Gd3+ glass shows ultraviolet radiation emission in the range of 310–315 nm.•Tb3+ and Dy3+ glasses can find applications in the green and yellow emission range.
