摘要

•Whispering gallery mode (WGM) resonator (WGMR) based glucose sensor has been reported.•WGMR was modified by glucose oxidase (GOx) and gold nanoparticles (AuNPs).•The influence of both GOx and AuNPs on the generation of WGM has been evaluated.•The analytical signal of WGMRs/Au-NPs/GOx sensor was based on the kinetics of WGM-frequency shift.•Sensitivity of WGMRs/Au-NPs/GOx-based sensor was predetermined by KM constant of adsorbed GOx.
