Physiological Responses to Fear Conditioning as Indicators of PTSD and Related Symptom Trajectories Following Trauma
BIOLOGICAL PSYCHIATRY(2020)
摘要
Deficits in sympathetic and parasympathetic activation are well-established biomarkers of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Fear conditioning is a useful translational tool for studying these and other important biomarkers, such as the acquisition and extinction of fear. In the current study, data were gathered during a fear conditioning session conducted two weeks following trauma exposure as part of the AURORA study (n = 73; data collection ongoing).
