摘要
•Sol-gel coatings loaded with fluconazole or anidulafungin were prepared.•The mechanism of local release of the antifungal is the coating degradation.•The coating degradation was studied by EIS and was influenced by its cross-linking.•The cross-linking depends on the concentration and molecular weight of antifungals.•Coatings loaded with anidulafungin showed non-cytotoxicity and antifungal effectiveness.
