摘要
In this paper, we proposed a broadband near-zero dispersion fiber based on a low-loss ZBLAN material. The dispersion variation is 2.1 ps center dot nm(-1)km(-1)in the wavelength range of 1700 nm to 3870 nm. The coherent supercontinuum (SC) is numerically investigated by using the proposed photonic crystal fiber. Then, we proposed an effective method to improve the SC conversion efficiency (CE) for mid-infrared region. By slightly adjusting the fiber structure parameters and pump wavelength, CE increased from 35.77% to 75.22%. Furthermore, such fiber can be a promising platform for frequency comb generation with a passive ring geometry. Smooth comb which corresponding to the single Kerr soliton is predicted at 2 mu m.
