摘要

•SGLT2i or thiazide increases urinary excretion of phthalates metabolites.•The effect is independent from the diuretic class.•The increase of urinary MEHP excretion is positively related to sodium one.•Through diuretics, it is possible to enhance phthalates elimination from the body.•Urine samples might lead to overestimate exposure if subjects are on diuretics.
