3D Perfusion - Higher Resolution, Better Diagnostic Accuracy?

3D CMR perfusion offers high diagnostic accuracy in the diagnosis of relevant coronary artery disease. It provides, compared to standard 2D CMR Perfusion (only 3 short axis slices), whole-heart coverage with a reproducible assessment of myocardial ischemic burden. Furthermore the fusion of coronary MR or CT angiography with 3D CMR perfusion offers the possibility of hybrid imaging and improved diagnostic accuracy.
