FK866 alleviates cerebral pyroptosis and inflammation mediated by Drp1 in a rat cardiopulmonary resuscitation model

•FK866 has neuroprotective effect by regulating mitochondrial division.•In this paper, FK866 inhibited the expression of NLRP3 and inflammatory cascade.•FK866 downregulated p-DRP1 and improve the mitochondrial morphology.•This study is intended to encourage more extensive related research.
