摘要

Conodonts from the oil-and-gas bearing Carboniferous deposits of the northern part of the Peri-Caspian depression are studied. The age of the deposits is determined as the Moscovian Stage of the Middle Carboniferous. Numerous conodonts of the genus Gondolella indicate a deep-sea sedimentary setting. Correlation was made with the deposits of the east of the Russian plate, the Moscow Syneclise, and the South Urals.
