摘要
The goal of this paper is to provide a spatio-temporal analysis of the distribution of strontium (Sr) in to soils of eastern Poland, and an investigation of abnormal concentrations of that element, depending on various environmental factors. The study takes into account type of geological structure, land inclination, type and soil reactions, its sorption capability and radioactivity. Using a specialized GIS software, relevant interpolation procedures have been performed to enable spatial visualization of the geochemical data obtained from the Institute of Soil Science and Plant Cultivation (IUNG) in Pulawy (Poland) in the form of raster and vector maps. In addition, the application of GIS spatial analyses has made it possible to study correlations between the content of the examined element in the soil and the aforementioned factors that affect the soil properties.
