摘要

•Liver dysfunction often occurs in acute heart failure patients.•The FIB4 index was developed as a noninvasive index to stage hepatic disease.•We evaluated the predictability of the FIB4 index in patients with acute heart failure.•The higher FIB4 index at admission could be a strong predictor of adverse outcomes.
