The utility model relates to a beam diagnosis equipment for accelerator devices and particularly relates to a Faraday cylinder for high energy high current accelerators. The Faraday cylinder is mainly characterized in that a head portion of the Faraday cylinder is connected with a driving device through a switching flange and a loop flange, and the head portion of the Faraday cylinder and the driving device are relatively independent; a water inlet pipe, a water outlet pipe, a high voltage cable and a signal cable of the head portion of the Faraday cylinder pass through the switching flange and the loop flange and penetrate through a supporting cylinder of the driving device to extend to an air end; the switching flange and the loop flange are provided with edges, a copper pad is added between the two flanges, the two flanges are in sealing connection through a bolt, and air and vacuum isolation is realized. The Faraday cylinder is advantaged in that the head portion of the Faraday cylinder and the driving portion are designed to be two independent parts which are connected through the loop flange, so the direction of the head portion of the Faraday cylinder can be conveniently adjusted, the head portion of the Faraday cylinder can be conveniently replaced, and thereby great convenience is brought about for mounting and maintenance. The interception surface of the Faraday cylinder and a water cooling body are in face contact, the water cooling effect is effectively improved, an interception surface cone top is easy to process, the processed cone top is a point, and axial length of the cone body is effectively reduced through a field angle of the cone bottom.
