DETERMINING THE FINANCIAL CONDITION OF LOCAL PUBLIC ADMINISTRATIONS. ITS APPLICATION IN THE MUNICIPALITIES OF THE AUTONOMOUS REGION OF GALICIA

The financial crises that have periodically affected a number of public institutions have led to the development of diagnostic techniques to minimize risks and provide solutions. The analysis of existing international literature related to the study of these financial crises has brought to light a diversity of focal points, among which the concept of financial condition. The adaptation and application of one of the most relevant techniques from the doctrinal point of view was followed in order to monitor the financial condition of the municipalities of the Autonomous Region of Galicia.
