Practice Of Psycho-Oncology With Latino Patients: An International Study

Cancer is the second leading cause of death globally, approximately 70% of deaths from cancer occur in low- and middle-income countries. About 1.3 million new cancer cases and 666,000 cancer deaths were estimated to have occurred in 2018 in Latin America and the Caribbean. Cancer is also the leading cause of death of Latinos in the U.S., accounting for approximately 42,700 deaths/year in the U.S. Latino population. This article is protected by copyright.
