Measuring the HICSS Influence

The Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences (HICSS) started in 1968, and has developed into one of the top conferences on information, computer, and system sciences. We take the 50th anniversary of HICSS as an opportunity to reflect on the conference’s history—how it has changed over time and the influence it has had. The primary contribution of this project was assembling the HICSS literature into a database conducive to graph and keyword analysis.
