2-Level Station Location for Bike Sharing.

This paper is motivated by designing bike sharing systems that flourish in many large cities. Such systems should locate bike stations allowing users to pick up and drop off bicycles. Considering the interests of both station investors and bike users, we propose an optimization model for determining the locations of bike stations at two levels, and solve it in polynomial time of a randomized approximation algorithm with expected approximation ratio 3.
