Gesture Controlled Hexacopter using MEMS Technology

In today's world, gesture-controlled technology is one of the most advanced research topics for the Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV' `s). Hand gestures or body postures are the most natural and common form for humans to communicate or interact with the machines. This research paper presents the detail use of hand gestures for controlling the motions of a hexa-copter using Microelectromechanical system (MEMS) technology. This work consists of four main parts, such as data exchange through RF wireless communication, processor (controller), 6-axis MEMS Sensor and kinematics of drone. Precise rotation and speed of the Hexacopter has been successfully verified using gestures of the user.
