Integrating engineered point spread functions into the phasor-based single-molecule localization microscopy framework

•Phasor-based single-molecule localization microscopy is expanded to engineered PSFs.•We present a novel convolutional phasor approach.•We present an integrated software for analyzing various point spread functions.•We achieve localization rates of up to 250 KHz using standard CPUs.•We integrate the control of deformable mirrors to enable engineered PSFs.
