Nuclear organization and morphology of catecholaminergic neurons and certain pallial terminal networks in the brain of the Nile crocodile, Crocodylus niloticus.

Using immunohistochemical staining for tyrosine hydroxylase, we describe the catecholaminergic system of the Nile crocodile. While for the most part following the pattern observed across vertebrates, certain neurons, such as those stained in the nucleus laminaris, were unique to the Nile crocodile.
