摘要
•The metal free EGCN exposed for sequential TBBPA mineralization.•A rapid BPA degradation kinetics with EGCN (0.045 min−1) was observed compare to bulk GCN (0.012 min−1).•The influence of pH and charge on the surface makes the catalyst more promising and wide range applicability.•HR-ESI-MS mode was used to identify the byproducts formed during BPA degradation.•The stability of EGCN was evaluated by repeated BPA degradation for three consecutive cycles.
