摘要
LandSAGE is a geospatial visualization tool developed with the goal of providing decision support capabilities to countries in Southeast Asia, allowing scientists, engineers, and decision makers to monitor and mitigate costly natural disasters, namely landslides and flooding. The project is a multi-national collaborative effort, involving beneficiaries from the countries of Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos. In this work, we present a brief overview of the scope and scale of the first out of three phases of this project, culminating in the development of a geospatial visualization application, specially engineered to run on SAGE2 powered CyberCANOEs. This application ties together both real-time and historical hydrological and meteorological data, from sensor networks spanning the countries of Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam.
