Sharing and reusing therapeuticknowledge for managing leukemic childrenSilvana

Managing complex medical problems requires the ability to execute diierent medical tasks: diagnosis, therapy planning and monitoring. Moreover, therapeutic plans have to be modiied several times along the patient's progress according to his/her conditions. In this paper we propose a method useful both for representing the management knowledge and for individuating pieces of knowledge that can be shared and reused in a knowledge based system. The methodology is illustrated by using a challenging clinical example: the management of leukemic children.
