This paper reviews work carried out at Beijing Institute of Radio Metrology and Measurement (BIRMM) on an optoelectronic measurement of the impulse response of the ultrafast photodetector (PD) with a nominal bandwidth of 100GHz based on high-speed asynchronous electrooptic sampling (ASEOS).
