摘要
Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for detection of endosulfan was developed using antibodies raised against endosulfan. The competitive assay formatted was specific to endosulfan with a limit of detection of 1ng. The application and efficiency of the assay were tested for the detection of residues in different food samples. With an efficient extraction method, the recoveries ranged from 48-100% in spiked food matrices. The precision of the assay was satisfactory. Validation of the technique was done with spiked food samples using gas chromatography (GC). The advanced immunoassay method was preferably a suitable method for the rapid, quantitative and reliable determination of endosulfan residues in agricultural products.
