Opinion of the Committee of the Czech Society for Atherosclerosis on the ESC/ EAS Recommendations for Dyslipidemia Diagnostics and Treatment 2016

The Committee of the Czech Society for Atherosclerosis (CSAT) has drawn up an opinion on the ESC/EAS new recommendations for the management of dyslipidemias published in 2016. This opinion presents the summary of the major changes incorporated into the aforementioned document, as distinct from the preceding EAS/ESC guidelines of 2011 and from the CSAT comments on these recommended practices which were published in 2013. Opinion CSAT comments on the selected recommendations which, in the opinion of the CSAT Committee, are essential to clinical practice, or possibly those of a more disputable nature. The CSAT Committee considers the 2016 ESC/EAS recommendations for the management of dyslipidemias appropriate also for health care in the Czech Republic. Kľúčové slová/Klíčová slova
