Susceptibility to Hydrogen Peroxide of Root Nodule Bacteria andCatalase Activity
semanticscholar(2018)
摘要
relation with H202 resistance among all bacteria tested. Addition of a catalase inhibitor such as 3-amino-1, 2, 4-triazole increased the susceptibility to H202. These results suggest that the lower catalase activity brings ubout the higher susceptibility of root nodule bacteria to H202. Root nodule bacteria seemed te haye twe or three catalase isozymes during growth and their catalase actiyities were higher in log phase than in stationary phase, eontrary to other genera ef bacteria tested.
