摘要

•First report of mtDNA coding and non-coding variants among TB patients.•In coding region, a total of 94 variants were present in different genes.•Variants in ND2 and ND6 genes were deleterious in Polyphen-2 and Provean.•83 variants were observed in non-coding region (D-loop, 16 s, 12 s, tRNA-Gln, Thr).
