Menstrual Migraine Among Spanish University Students

•The prevalence of menstrual migraine was 45.15% in young Spanish woman.•Dysmenorrhea, menstrual irritability and menstrual dizziness are identified as possible risk factors for migraine.•The use of hormonal contraceptive methods and daily consumption of cola beverages are identified as possible risk factors for menstrual migraine.•Nurses should be the key to providing community interventions based on lifestyle modification.
