Design of Automatic Speed Control System of Belt Conveyor Based on Image Recognition

Given the problems of large workload, high cost, complex installation and maintenance in the way of dynamic measurement of coal quantity on belt by belt-scale in the past, this paper designs a dynamic measurement system of coal quantity on belt conveyor based on image processing, which can automatically adjust the speed of multiple belt conveyors. The system processes the real-time image of the monitoring video stream of the belt conveyor uploaded to the ground, calculates the coal quantity, and adjusts the frequency of the belt conveyor system according to the real-time coal quantity, to achieve the effect of energy-saving and efficient operation of the whole belt conveyor system.
