Controlling the Spread of COVID-19 Pandemic: Can West Africa Weather the Storm?

This paper presents a case report about the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in West Africa with a focus on how Nigeria is controlling the human-to-human transmission and limiting any further imported cases of SARS-CoV-2 disease. As different countries struggle to contain the SARS-CoV-2 epidemic, one wonders how African countries with dilapidated healthcare infrastructure can weather the storm.
