About MPPT used in Wind and Photovoltaic Energy Systems

摘要

The paper presents issues regarding the usage of MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) strategies in renewable energy conversion systems (especially wind and solar). There are reviewed main MPPT techniques and stated guidelines for their usage. Some of them were studied and implemented in the laboratories at Politehnica University of Timisoara, on experimental setups for micro grid systems.
