摘要

•In this field study, the 4Dx® Plus test was significantly more sensitive (p < 0.01) than the FLEX4® test for detection of heartworm antigen in dogs.•4Dx Plus test was found to have a sensitivity of 97.4 % and specificity of 99.5 %.•FLEX4 test was found to have a sensitivity of 76.9 % and specificity of 99.5 %.
