Evaluation of a topical sarolaner-selamectin combination to control flea populations on naturally infested cats in private residences in West Central Florida.

•Sarolaner and fluralaner provided excellent flea control in heavily flea infested environments.•Selamectin-Sarolaner combination product eradicated flea infestations on cats.•Isoxazolines administered to flea infested cats rapidly reduced pruritus.•Isoxazolines administered to flea infested cats dramatically improved dermatologic lesions.•Flea control on-pets and in the premises can be achieved with systemic isoxazolines.
