To develop a Monte Carlo (MC)-based and robust ion beam therapy optimization system that separates the optimization algorithm from the relative biological effectiveness (RBE) modeling. Robustly optimized dose distributions were calculated and compared across three ion therapy beams (proton, helium, carbon).
