Enhanced active site extraction from perovskite LaCoO3 using encapsulated PdO for efficient CO2 methanation

The strong interaction between the encapsulated PdO and LaCoO3 led to the low-temperature phase transformation of the perovskite structure. The Co0 was extracted and in-situ carburized to Co2C which exhibited excellent catalytic performance for CO2 methanation.
