Development and validation study of Game Overuse Screening Questionnaire.

•We developed a Game Overuse Screening Questionnaire (GOS-Q) for Korean population and examined its reliability and validity.•GOS-Q demonstrated good internal consistency and concurrent validity.•Diagnostic ability of GOS-Q was found to be favorable.•A six-factor model by exploratory factor analysis exhibited the best overall fit.
