Visualizing Technology Trends

In this paper, we introduce an interesting function, Trend 1, in AMiner [4]. Given a technology field, Trend can automatically extract sub-topics, visualize, and compare their evolutionary trends. It can also identify “milestones” happened in the technology field. The system is publicly available. Feedback from online users shows the effectiveness of the system.
