RPI BLENDER TAC-KBP2014 Knowledge Base Population System

This year the RPI BLENDER team participated in the following four tasks: English Entity Discovery and Linking (Ji et al., 2014), Regular Slot Filling (Surdeanu and Ji, 2014), Slot Filling Validation and KBP Event Argument Extraction. The core algorithm of our Entity Discovery and Linking is described in (Zheng et al., 2014). Our Slot Filling and Slot Filling Validation are based on a Multidimensional Truth Finding Model (Yu et al., 2014). Our KBP Event Argument Extraction system is based on joint modeling (Li et al., 2013; Li et al., 2014; Li and Ji, 2014). So in this paper we mainly focus on the unpublished new work for each task.
