摘要
Titanium (Ti) and its alloy are commonly used in many fields such as dentistry or orthopedics metal transplants. However, the immune will attack the surface of implants when it implants in human beings and easily hampered by their biological inertia. The corrosion resistance and interaction with the implant with the tissue of the surface is the most critical topic for implant materials. In this study, a protective ceramic layer was coated on the surface of pure Ti by a Micro-arc oxidation (MAO) technique. Then, using HMDSZ/O2 plasma treatment and active organic layer by UV light-induced graft polymerization of acrylic acid (AAc) were applied onto the organic silicon film to immobilize biodegradable polymer on the surface. Finally, the potential polarization dynamic test and Alamar blue cell viability assay were utilized to confirm the biocompatibility and corrosion resistance of the surface. The experimental results show that the surface has improved corrosion resistance of the Pure Ti substrate, and the biocompatibility also reaches the requirements of the biomedical material.
