摘要

•We tested psychometric properties of the Actively Open-minded Thinking scale (AOT).•Results showed that none of the AOT-items could discriminate between respondents.•No item-set could be obtained to validly order subjects on the assumed latent trait.•Scores on the AOT do not seem to provide insights in the concept it aims to measure.
