Unit commitment model including detailed modeling of combined cycle gas turbine concerning weather impacts

摘要
The operational characteristics of combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) are strongly affected by the characteristics of ambient environment. Maximal available power output and fuel consumption are co-affected by ambient temperature, air pressure and air quality. The fuel consumption and available fuel storage has relations with weather conditions as well. By incorporating the above characteristics, this paper proposes a novel unit commitment model including detailed modeling of CCGT concerning weather impacts. Numerical results show remarkable impacts of weather-responsive characteristics on the operation of power systems.
