摘要

•This work breaks the fetters of compositional design of HE-MGs by equiatomic ratio.•The cooling rate cannot be overlooked for alloys at the phase-formation boundaries.•Hc of the present HEA obtained by rapid cooling is one of the lowest values in HEAs.•Soft magnetic properties were greatly improved by tailoring the phase.
