•The management of intracranial emergencies during pregnancy which needed urgent neurosurgical treatment is presented.•Multidisciplinary teams are needed to support pregnant women in a way that they can deliver a viable child.•The primary concern must be the mother`s health and safety· Fetuses in the second/third trimester have high chances for a normal development after timely Caesarean section.
