摘要

•Blood lead concentration was significantly higher in ischemic stroke patients compared to the control group.•Uric acid and BLC were significant factors for predicting ischemic stroke after adjusting of lipid profile and FBS.•This study indicates that the odds ratio for ischemic stroke increases by 1.04 per 1 μg/dl increase of BLC.
